What we publish
We look for original reporting and clear explanations on artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, software, smartphones and gadgets, science, startups and business innovation. The best contributions come from first-hand knowledge: a security researcher explaining a new class of attack, an engineer describing what a chip announcement really changes, or an analyst showing how a regulation will affect products.
We do not publish promotional content, paid placements, press releases or articles that have already appeared elsewhere.
Who should apply
You do not need to be a professional journalist. We work with engineers, researchers, academics, security professionals, product specialists and experienced writers. What matters is expertise, accuracy and the ability to explain a subject to a curious, non-specialist reader. You can write in English, Spanish, Portuguese or Italian.
How the process works
Tell us about your expertise and the subjects you would like to cover using the form below. An editor reviews every application. If we would like to work with you, we create a contributor account and email you an activation link. You can then draft articles in the contributor area and send them for review. An editor checks facts and sources, suggests changes and decides on publication.
What we ask of contributors
Cite your sources, disclose any relationship with the companies you write about and follow our editorial policy. Your byline appears on the articles you write.
