Corrections Policy

Independent reporting, clear standards, and a curious view of what comes next.

Accuracy matters more to us than speed. When we make a mistake, we want readers to know what changed and why. This policy explains how we handle errors in published stories.

What we correct

We correct factual errors of any size: wrong names, figures, dates, quotes, product details or descriptions of events. We also update stories when new information materially changes their meaning, even if the original reporting was accurate at the time.

How corrections appear

When we identify a material error, we update the story, preserve the original publication date and show an updated date. Significant corrections are explained in a note in the article that states what was wrong and what is now correct. Minor fixes to spelling, grammar or formatting that do not change meaning are made without a note.

We do not silently remove published articles. If a story must be withdrawn, for example for legal reasons or because its central claim proved false, we replace it with an explanation.

Translations

ByteSfera publishes in four languages. When a correction affects one version of a story, we apply it to every language in which that story appears.

How to report an error

Send the article URL, the sentence you believe is wrong and any evidence that supports the correction through our contact page. Links to primary sources, official documents or published research help us verify quickly. An editor reviews every report.

What happens next

If we agree that a correction is needed, we update the story and add a note where appropriate. If we decide no change is needed, we will explain why when you have given us an email address.
